about

"False Mirror" - The album was released on October 26, 2021 with some concept.

The album was written in October 2021. For a whole month, John Rid could not write a normal composition that suited him, at least a little, but suited him. It was a creative crisis. It was a terrible time. After writing the previous album, John Rid fell into a deep crisis. He experienced complete desolation and loneliness. No ideas came to his mind. For a moment, he already thought that he was no longer destined to compose anything. But one day he had an epiphany! And in a couple of evenings, an almost hour-long album was written. On October 26, 2021, it was released. It was a great victory over a great crisis! After that, John Rid moved to a new level in his work. He became more serious about his music.

The idea for the story and cover was inspired by a dream that John Rid had a couple of years ago. In the dream, he was walking in a sunny, deserted hometown. But suddenly, turning around, he notices how a crowd of people silently runs after him. He starts to run away from her and John Rid soon wakes up. During the writing of the album, he added to the plot of the dream. The cover shows the moment when the man turns to the crowd. The album describes how he runs away from the city, but soon the crowd overtakes him and tramples him. The track Trampled by the Crowd describes this.
